Username Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026 · Last updated: July 8, 2026

Your username is your identity on Leet Robotics. It appears in your profile URL (leetrobotics.com/@yourname) and on everything you publish — projects, assets, and contributions. This policy explains how usernames work and what is and isn’t allowed.

Choosing a Username

  • Usernames may contain letters and numbers only (a–z, A–Z, 0–9), between 3 and 50 characters. No spaces, hyphens, underscores, or other symbols.
  • One account per person.
  • Your username is permanent and cannot be changed later. Because your username is part of every link to your work, changing it would break those links — so we don’t offer renames. Choose carefully.

Reserved Names

Some usernames are reserved and can’t be registered. These include names used by our platform and infrastructure (for example admin, support, api), the Leet Robotics brand and its variations, and names that could be used to impersonate staff, official accounts, or the company. If a name you want is unavailable, try a number or an alternative spelling.

Name Squatting

Usernames may not be reserved or inactively held for future use. Registering accounts primarily to hold or stockpile usernames is prohibited. Attempts to buy, sell, or solicit payment in exchange for a username are not allowed and may result in permanent suspension of the accounts involved.

Impersonation & Brands

You may not use a username to impersonate another person, another user, a brand, or Leet Robotics itself, or in a way that misleads others about who you are or your affiliation with us. Accounts that do so may be renamed or removed.

Trademark Complaints

If a username infringes a trademark you own, you may submit a complaint. A valid trademark claim is the only basis on which we will review the release of a username that is already in use. Contact us at varun@leetrobotics.com with the subject line “Trademark — Username” and include the username, your trademark registration, and a description of the infringement.

Inactive Accounts

We do not release, transfer, or reclaim usernames on the basis that an account appears inactive or unused. An account that looks inactive may still belong to someone who intends to return to it.

Enforcement

We may rename or suspend accounts that violate this policy, including for squatting, impersonation, or holding a reserved name, with or without prior notice. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.
